Originally from Moscow, Russia, Lebedinskaia completed her undergraduate studies in Art History and Studio Art at Concordia University, where she is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Art History. Her interests in contemporary art and visual culture revolve around vernacular photography, memory, space, and the formation of diasporic identity. In her spare time, she enjoys playing with small fluffy animals, drinking red wine, and eating good cheese.

Having completed her Bachelor of Arts from The University of British Columbia in Anthropology and First Nations Studies, Paul has since pursued her passion for contemporary art and First Nations politics. Paul has worked for the Plug In Institute of Contemporary Art, The Bill Reid Gallery of Northwest Coast Art and The Banff Centre. Paul enjoys writing and long walks on the beach.
